Customer Authorization & Representation Agreement

What you authorize us to do on your behalf (CARA).

1. Agreement

This Customer Authorization & Representation Agreement ("Agreement" or "CARA") governs the authorization you provide to Comparison Junction for the purpose of reviewing, comparing, managing, optimizing, and facilitating household and business services on your behalf.

This Agreement is entered into between:

Comparison Junction and CJ OWL are brands operated by Comparison Junction, Inc., together with its parent company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, authorized representatives, contractors, and designated service partners (collectively referred to in this Agreement as "Comparison Junction," "CJ," "CJ OWL," "we," "our," or "us");

and the Customer ("Customer", "you", or "your").

By signing this Agreement electronically or physically, you authorize Comparison Junction to act within the scope described below.

2. Purpose

Comparison Junction is an independent Buying Concierge, Marketplace, and Customer Value Platform that helps households and small businesses:

Compare products and services
Identify savings opportunities
Improve value
Simplify purchasing decisions
Organize household services
Monitor renewals
Protect against poor buying decisions
Deliver ongoing savings through CJ OWL membership services

This Agreement authorizes Comparison Junction to perform these services on your behalf where applicable.

3. Scope of Authorization

You authorize Comparison Junction to assist you with products and services including, but not limited to:

Utilities

Electricity
Natural Gas
Water (where available)

Connectivity

Internet
Mobile
Home Phone
Television

Insurance

Auto Insurance
Home Insurance
Renters Insurance
Life Insurance
Health Insurance
Medicare Plans
Supplemental Insurance
Travel Insurance
Business Insurance

Home Services

Home Security
Home Warranty
Solar
HVAC
Pest Control
Moving Services

Financial Services

Mortgage
Personal Loans
Credit Cards
Debt Settlement
Banking Products
Business Finance

Travel

Any additional services offered by Comparison Junction in the future.

4. Customer Authorization

You authorize Comparison Junction, where legally permitted, to:

Review your current services.
Review bills, invoices, contracts, and account information provided by you.
Compare providers, plans, products, pricing, and available offers.
Request quotations from participating providers.
Verify service eligibility.
Contact providers regarding your existing services.
Obtain information required to prepare recommendations.
Coordinate switching, enrollments, transfers, renewals, or cancellations after your approval.
Monitor contract renewal dates.
Monitor market pricing.
Prepare personalized recommendations.
Generate your Savings Opportunity Report™.
Provide ongoing membership services under CJ OWL.
Maintain records necessary to provide requested services.

5. Customer Representation

For the limited purposes described in this Agreement, you appoint Comparison Junction as your non-exclusive authorized representative to:

Obtain information from participating providers.
Request available offers.
Compare available products and services.
Coordinate communications with providers.
Assist with applications where authorized.
Facilitate requested service changes.

This authorization does not permit Comparison Junction to enter into legally binding agreements on your behalf without your express consent.

6. Customer Consent

Comparison Junction will obtain your approval before:

Switching providers.
Purchasing new products.
Cancelling existing services.
Accepting provider contracts.
Making account changes requiring customer authorization.

Unless separately authorized by you or permitted by applicable law, Comparison Junction will never make these decisions without your consent.

7. Savings Opportunity Report™

You authorize Comparison Junction to:

Review your household or business services.
Analyze pricing and value.
Compare participating providers.
Prepare a personalized Savings Opportunity Report™.
Recommend opportunities to improve savings, protection, convenience, or overall customer value.

Recommendations are based on information available at the time of review and should not be considered legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.

8. Renewal Monitoring

Where applicable and during your relationship with Comparison Junction or CJ OWL, you authorize us to:

Monitor renewal dates.
Notify you of contract expirations.
Identify improved offers.
Recommend renewal options.
Recommend provider changes where beneficial.

9. CJ OWL Membership Services

If you enroll in CJ OWL, you authorize Comparison Junction to provide services available under your selected membership plan, which may include:

Savings Opportunity Reports™
Household Savings Reviews
Renewal Monitoring
Smart Deal Notifications
Customer Value Reviews
Service Optimization
Protection Alerts
Concierge Assistance
Customer Support

Membership services are governed by the separate CJ OWL Membership Agreement.

10. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide complete and accurate information.
Promptly notify us of material changes.
Review recommendations carefully.
Provide approvals where required.
Keep your account credentials secure.
Notify us of unauthorized account access.

11. Provider Independence

Comparison Junction is an independent comparison and buying concierge platform.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

We are not owned by utility companies.
We are not owned by telecom providers.
We are not owned by insurance companies.
We are not owned by financial institutions.

Some participating providers may compensate Comparison Junction when customers purchase or enroll in their products or services.

Such compensation does not change our commitment to recommending options based on your needs, preferences, and available information.

12. Privacy

You authorize Comparison Junction to collect, use, store, and process your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy for the purposes of:

Delivering requested services.
Preparing comparisons.
Coordinating with providers.
Delivering CJ OWL services.
Improving customer experience.
Meeting legal obligations.

13. Electronic Communications

You consent to receive communications through:

Phone
Email
SMS
WhatsApp
Customer Portal
Mobile Application
Electronic Documents

You may modify your communication preferences where permitted by law.

14. Duration of Authorization

This authorization becomes effective upon your acceptance and remains in effect until the earliest of:

Your written withdrawal of authorization.
Closure of your Comparison Junction account.
Termination of your CJ OWL membership (where applicable).
Termination by Comparison Junction in accordance with applicable agreements.
Any period required by applicable law.

Withdrawal of authorization may prevent Comparison Junction from continuing to provide certain services.

15. Revocation

You may revoke this authorization at any time by providing written notice to Comparison Junction.

Revocation does not affect actions already taken in reliance on your authorization before it was withdrawn.

16. Limitation of Authorization

This Agreement does not authorize Comparison Junction to:

Sign contracts in your name.
Open financial accounts.
Transfer ownership of services.
Access information unrelated to requested services.
Make purchasing decisions without your approval.

17. Electronic Signature

You agree that checking an authorization box, electronically signing this Agreement, verifying your identity, or otherwise accepting this Agreement electronically constitutes your legal signature and has the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Customer Declaration

By accepting this Agreement, I confirm that:

I am at least 18 years of age.
I am the account holder or have legal authority to act on behalf of the account holder or business.
The information I provide is accurate and complete.
I have read and understood this Customer Authorization & Representation Agreement.
I voluntarily authorize Comparison Junction to provide the services described in this Agreement.
I understand that Comparison Junction will not make changes to my services without my authorization unless separately instructed by me or otherwise permitted by law.
